Can guests access online materials?

State of Illinois Provided Databases- (start here):
We suggest starting with State of Illinois provided resources. If you are an Illinois resident, you will have access to ALL databases linked below. These are available from any Illinois location using geo-location.
Access Databases Provided by the State of Illinois
Remote users will be prompted to login with the following credentials if they are using a VPN or are IL residents accessing resources from out of state.
- User ID: illinoissl
- Password: Access-24
On Campus Guest Users (accessing materials not available through State of Illinois databases):
- Login to OpenAthens BEFORE accessing any library resource links
- Choose the OpenAthens account login option (do not search for an institution)
- Login using the following credentials:
Username: colcillinois
Password: clclibraryguest - Please note: Due to vendor licensing restrictions, not all resources are available to guest users
Off Campus Guest Users:
Due to licensing restrictions, we do not offer off campus guest access to CLC-purchased online materials.
